Brora Boat of Garten Golspie Nairn Dunbar Tain
brora golf boat of garten golf golspie golf nairn dunbar tain golf

Gleneagles may be more glamorous, Carnoustie more prestigious. It is Brora which is the most northerly golf memorial to James Braid in his native Scotland.

Here the visitor will enjoy the mixture of bent grass and beach sand, burn water and gorse in glorious yellow May bloom. There is even a railway which comes into play from the tenth tee.

At “The Boat”, James Braid created 18 individual holes winding their way through birch trees, heather and whins.

Braid maximised the natural landscape to produce a beautiful and challenging course – not the longest by modern standards but it lures in the unwary.

The Boat is renowned as a demanding test of sporting skill.

Golspie offers one of the finest settings for a round of golf in the Highlands of Scotland with stunning views over the Dornoch Firth.

This course offers a unique blend of seaside links, heath and parkland to suit golfers of all abilities.

The influence of James Braid has been matched in recent years by the exceptional condition of the course.

Come to Nairn Dunbar golf course and enjoy a golfing experience to remember.

Appreciate over a hundred years of golfing history that have carved a Championship links course on the shores of the Moray Firth.

By the time you have completed this superb test of golf you will have used every club in your bag.

A traditional Scottish Highland links course designed by Old Tom Morris.

Our Championship length links enjoys spectacular views over mountains and sea.

Our 3rd hole is rated as one of the best 18 links holes in Scotland. We believe that Tain offers one of the finest settings and challenges for a round of golf.
